This stock engine oil cooler has a tube and fin core which is of a sensitive construction and therefore can be damaged by road debris. So with this type of core installed in this position it is not very unusual to get a sudden oil leak caused by a small stone or other debris hitting the stock oil cooler and this can be fatal for the engine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith our performance oil cooler, offer a much more durable design and of course at the same improve the performance!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo get an exact 3D-model of the available space to design our oil cooler in we did a detailed 3D-scan of the mounting area of the oil cooler. Our design increases cooling area by 20% and core volume by a massive 63% compared to the stock oil cooler.
